One day cruise to
Santorini
A one
day or two days (on request) trip to the picturesque
volcanic island of Santorini. By a comfortable mini van we
will visit the
beautiful villages of Fira and Oia enjoying their
panoramic and breathtaking sunset view and then we
will visit the black volcanic beaches of Santorini
for a swim.
The island's capital, Fira, clings to
cliffs providing stunning views of the
giant
lagoon below,
a
caldera left by a
volcanic eruption.
Santorini's nightlife has become as hot as its
volcanic past. Ruins including the volcanic
ash-preserved town of ancient Akrotiri, amaze those
with a bent for ancient history.
Santorini's villages
are made of white typical Cycladic houses with blue
painted windows facing the black volcanic rock of
the Caldera. A spectacular sight that has inspired
more than one artist including the Greek poet
Seferis, especially when meddled with a horizon
tainted by the amazing colours of the sunset, which
is said to be one of the most striking in the world.
