Travel and Do is a network of leading specialist tour operators and local travel providers. It stands against the global trend for mass tourism, and instead offers the necessary services, advice and expertise for recreational activity and cultural awareness travel.

Offered travel packages are planned with this commitment in mind. Our aim is to ensure that our holiday packages will benefit the local communities and people, as we fully appreciate the economic, social and environmental impact of tourist visits on local areas.

The Travel and Do concept is based on the idea of presenting to the esteemed clientele as many aspects of Greece as possible within a limited time frame, with all activity programs set in picturesque landscape surrounded by stunning scenery.

Travel and Do aims to satisfy the natural desire of a traveller to experience the local customs and traditions, learn the history, taste the delicatessen, and above all, meet the people and share their culture.

Travel and Do accommodation arrangements are always made in hotels that reflect the local environment and culture and offer a welcoming and convivial atmosphere to people who share the same interests in recreational travel. Double accommodations have twin beds or one double bed.

Singles
We encourage single travelers to join our trips! Travelers who would prefer a single room have one at a single-room surcharge. We have made a concerted effort to keep our single supplement fees as low as possible.

HELLENIC TAO
	Yannis Samsonidis, teaching in English and German, born in Greece in 1968, studied Photography and Civil Engineering. He has been studying the eastern internal martial arts since 1990 under various teachers. As a certified instructor of Master Mantak Chia's "Universal Tao System" he focuses his teaching on Conscious Breathing, Healing Sounds, Chinese Yoga, Qi Gong, Massage and Meditation. He is also a certified Thai Massage practitioner. In 2002 he founded "HELLENIC TAO" to connect the Eastern healing arts with Hellas' beauty, light and spirit. In 2007 he conceived the idea of TRAVEL and DO network, as a unique solution to his need to combine, explore, deepen and enjoy all the things he values in life and at the same time offer and share them with his closest friends and teachers, as well as with his guests from all over the world.
Ioanna Patsavou, teaching in English, born in Athens in 1985, studied at the Social Work Department of Higher Technological Education Institution of Crete. Her dance studies started in 1993 with Classic Ballet and with Greek Traditional Dance lessons. Her love to Oriental Dancing found its way in 2002 when she started to study all kinds of Folklore Traditional Arabic Dances under various Greek and foreign teachers. For two years (2004-2006) she also studied advanced Latin Dancing techniques to further improve her movement. In 2003 she attended two intensive advanced “Dance Therapy” seminars of two months duration each In 2007 she completed a six months duration seminar on the subject: “Drama play as a means of therapy when used by social workers”. WORKING EXPERIENCE 2007 - 2008: Practice as a social worker at “Hope”, the Special Care House of the Association for the Children with Cancer. 2007: Teaching of Oriental dances to persons with special needs at the Centre of Children Care for Abused Teenage girls and Girls suffering from Cancer. AWARDS 2007: 1st award at the International Oriental Dance Competition in Constantinople.
	Spiros Peristeris, teaching in English, born in Athens, Greece, 1958. He has studied and performed music in Athens and New York. In 1983 he founded an independent record label in Athens. Spiros has composed music for Films & Dance Theatre. In early 80s he studied Eastern Philosophies and Yoga, the Martial Arts and Meditation. Later he studied “The Music of the Spheres”, also called “Studying the Qi of Heaven”. In early 90s Spiros was influenced by Taoist philosophy and became deeply involved with Tai Chi Chuan. At the same time he began extensive studies in the Therapeutic Arts (Qi Gong, Thai Ancient Massage, & Bioenergy Therapies). In Thailand he continued to work on Thai Ancient Therapy. In 1998 he received a certificate from Wat Po Traditional Medical School. Since then Spiros taught the art of Thai Massage therapy. Many of his students work today as therapists. For many years he taught Tai -Chi at the HOROHOROS Center in Athens. Since 2004 he has been participating at TAO’S center, Paros, Greece, a Unique and Energized Life Center.
